The 2021 ASA Championship Divisional Meet will be held Wednesday June 23 (date tentative) at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.  Time won't be determined until mid-June after meet entries have been submitted (we could be in a morning, afternoon, or evening session).

This is your chance to swim in an Olympic pool!  And see your name up on the big scoreboard!  The Championship meet is open to ALL swimmers regardless of times.  ALL Cool Sharks are encouraged to attend!  We would love to have as many swimmers as possible help our team bring home a trophy again!  This is a team effort - everyone contributes!  We will be going for the team spirit award too so come prepared for lots of fun and excitement!

Here is a link to the ASA Championships website:  We are don't yet in which session we will be placed.  Entry lists, psych sheets, and results will be posted here, as well as other meet information (we will email most of this information out to the team as well).

Meet entry fees were included with registration for all swimmers!  You will sign up for this meet the same way you sign up for our regular meets (through the portal).  All swimmers are allowed to swim a maximum of two individual events.  Please select two events for your swimmer when signing up.  Unlike a regular meet, entries for this meet are based entirely on swimmer choice.  The coaches will choose the relay teams based on best times.  The sign-up deadline for this meet is TBD at noon.  Late entries will not be available for the meet this year, due to the need to plan for numbers during COVID.  Don't miss the deadline!

There will be no Finals Session this year. All swimmers will swim in one Divisional Session in one pool.

The top 10 finishers receiving medals, places 11-30 will receive ribbons.

IMPORTANT - Only competitors and authorized meet volunteers and coaches will be allowed at the meet this year.  No spectators will be allowed, and parents without volunteer passes will need to remain outside the building.  ASA will be enforcing this rule very strictly.

The cost for the advance passes is $12.00 .If you do not prepay for parking you will need cash to park, the cost is $15 at the gate. A map of the parking areas can be found here.  There will also be signs around the venue that will point you in the direction of the lots for the meet.  This is also a great meet to just take an uber!!!

MEET APPAREL - If you would like to purchase souvenir meet t-shirts and hoodies, they will be on sale at the meet or you can order online in advance at  Note that all items come with the championship logo on the front, but you can customize with personalization on the back for an additional fee.

Here are last years' results, if you need help choosing events for your swimmers!  Remember, it is often possible to place higher in events which are less popular (long free, IM, fly) but that officials DQ very strictly at this meet so be sure your child's breast and fly are legal before signing up for those strokes.  We will be working on this the last week of practice (and it's also a great time for a quick private lesson!).  Please ask the coaches if you are unsure.
